Moss valley park is a hidden hide away and a man made beauty. . in between two mountains moss valley has two lakes with private fishing, with woods on both sides of the lakes, walking around one lake and down the side of another which leads to a open field and opens up to the slope to where both mountains meet. The possibilities you can do is open to you. . picnics, ball games, dog walks or just walking and exploring . . there is also horse riding along the disused railway lines . . plus has a play area for children free parking. No toilets. .
Great! all been said. Could do with some sort of sign from main road although it's best kept secret!
I love this place because of the wildlife,the flowers and the trees. It is aptly named Moss Valley because some beautiful mosses grow there. If you are lucky you may catch sight of a Kingfisher and Heron as well as hearing woodpeckers and a variety of other birds.
