Lovely walk with the family and grandchildren on Sunday. I don't mind dogs off leads enjoying the walk but owners need to clear up after them. Most do but some still spoil it leaving dog poo in areas that children may wander into to explore or discard poo bag on ground or even one hanging in tree ! Overall lovely walk.
Pleasant place for a family walk. Great park for the kids and lovely interest along accessible paths. Cafe good too! Parking now 1 for the day.
A lovely place to walk. Much used by dog walkers. A hard path around the top area of the park is used by walkers and cyclists who are not always fully aware that they are not the only ones using the path.For those who are fit and do not mind hills a walk down to the river is pleasant. Children's play area has plenty of things for them to do.There is a cafe at the centre that serves a variety of foods and drinks.
Lovely place to walk your dogs or just go for a nice countryside walk. There are several way-marked routes which are accessible, and a children's playground. There is a cafe and visitor centre with lots of local info. They hold various events throughout the year. Pedal Power adapted bikes are also available. Parking is 1 - you can pay cash, phone or via Just Park app. There are meeting rooms available for private hire for meetings or parties. Gates close at 4.45pm on the dot!!
I love Alyn Waters. The park itself is great. We use the cycle centre with work for two autistic lads and that is a great scheme run by really helpful guys. Love the fact the cafe is a community project and the fact the park itself is used so widely by the community. And to think it's an old landfill site (so I hear). It's usually pretty clean - which in Wrexham is amazing, since elsewhere in town litter is a blight. Great park - especially for dogs - and great resource.
