Fab pub. Great, friendly service. Lovely food. Brilliant value.
I popped in on a Friday morning, hoping to enjoy a quiet breakfast. I witnessed an incident where a crazy old man stood up and started insisting he owned the place, and proceeded into a rave about Europe - how no deal was the only option for Britain and scoffing at dire warnings about unemployment. He was being egged on by a maul of what I can only describe as the undead.Rather than politely asking him to desist and helping him towards the door, staff seemed only too pleased to encourage his increasingly erratic behavior, giving him not only a cup of tea, but a microphone! He ranted on for almost 10 minutes before he finally ran out of energy.Very disappointing visit .The breakfast, on paper, seemed very good value. On the plate though it was distinctly average.
Went in for breakfast stood at the bar waiting to be served while all the useless staff walked passed me and served people who had just come to the bar. 15 minutes I waited and still no service so walked out. Have been a customer for years but had it with that place. If you want to get served there I suggest taking a book with you while you wait.
Great evening, good food, cheap booze and great service by all staff especially Brvon who certainly knows how to run a bar.. fab job.
