Tourist information site very poor. Considered taking a day trip to Wrexham with family but found tourist site lacking in information enough to encourage us to go....went to Shrewsbury instead as tourist side was more encouraging.
Brilliant that TIC is now open on Saturdays, has an alcohol licence so sells locally produced beers/ciders. Small, but quality, selection of other local food and craft produce. An excellent variety of local-interest books. Friendly, interested and interesting staff. All the usual useful tourist information pleasingly and accessibly displayed. I could not fault it. Five stars plus.
Nice staff and helped me find great places to visit
It isn't open on Saturdays, I work all week and can't get there at lunch time either.If you're a tourist passing through on a Saturday, it doesn't feel very welcoming to find the TIC closed.
