Myself and my wife go to the Maelor Hospital to the sleep clinic, the consultants Dr's nurses and receptionists are wonderful they all are so helpful and informative, all the staff in different parts of the hospital are all very friendly, everything is clean and tidy in the hospital as well,
As an emergency admission last week, to the Acute Coronary Unit, I would like to say that the behaviour and professionalism of the staff I met was beyond criticism. They were highly competent and equally friendly, I was seriously impressed. Almost unbelievably, even the food was good. Thank you very much to all of you.Ian Okell
My wife had our 1st daughter who was in Maelor hospital our daughter was born on 7th of August 1978 and she was looked after very well by the staff my wife's stay was excellent couldn't wish for anything better great nurses very attentive nothing to much trouble deserve 5 stars for excellence well done Maelor hospital very grateful patient xx
All the staff in the maternity unit were brilliant. so caring and always happy to help. Couldnt fault a thing. Im glad i chose Wrexham.
12 hour wait for my dad with a broken collarbone in agony (that was after waiting 2 hours for an ambulance) but the nurses were lovely, came out and gave everyone teas and coffees and sandwiches. They are working as hard as they can :)It's a shame all the people who turn up at a&e who don't even need to be there, and then go home without informing staff so it clogs up the queue for the people who actually are injured. Just go to your GP or pharmacist, or learn how to do basic first aid yourself :)
